Shipping Info
We ship small quantities via UPS and Fed Ex, Normally these are 20 Board Feet Boxes.
Larger orders are shipped via LTL carriers. Usually Estes Express Lines, New Penn Motor Express and others. The most reasonable way to ship 100 Board Feet or More is to ship to a terminal near you and you pick up there. Other options inclube shipping to a business or a residence. The more lumber you order the less expensive it becomes (per b.f.) to ship. For example 200 Board Feet to the West Coast will cost about $1.25 per b.f. for shipping, 500 Board Feet would cost about $0.70 per b.f. Pictured below is an order that went to Georgia, this order was Cherry, QSWO, and Ash. As you can see we do a great job preparing the order for shipping. Each order is placed on a pallet, stacked tight and banded with protective corners. The pallets are made so the trucking company can easily slide them in and out of their trucks. We also prepare each larger order with a slot in the middle to insert the forklift forks so if you pick up at a terminal they can load a pickup or small trailer with sides.
